It’s really nice when you have exactly the character options you want in an MMO. Whether it’s a combination of weapons, a skillset, a ship, or whatever, it’s great when you find one and say that it’s just right for you. But with every update that adds new character options, you know there’s the drive to get players to tap their fingers against their desks and ask if it’s really perfect. That moment when you look at something new that’s coming soon and wonder, “But what if this is more just right?”

I know from my own past that there have been times when I am excited about new classes or whatever coming to a game for offering more options, but I didn’t really want them specifically. But then there are times when I have seen something coming up and I have immediately been psyched for it – just eager to play with the new hotness. So what’s an expanded character option you’ve been unusually excited for in an MMO? A new option that made you incredibly hype to get your hands on it?
