If the upcoming alpha test for that other game has you interested in peeking in to the original action MMO Vindictus, then you’ll be doing so at a time when the game has a new patch available to play. That said, this one seems to be aimed at the higher level players, but hey, goals right?

Topping this patch is a new four-player boss fight against Morgant, winner of MMO gaming’s Tallest and Angriest Elf, which is an award that we totally made up just now. Besting this new baddie will award an assortment of new armor pieces, armor recipes, and a host of materials required to craft several other pieces of kit.

Speaking of crafting, there are a host of new items that can be crafted on top of raid boss-level gear such as outfit recipe scrolls that let players take existing equipment and turn it into cosmetic gear. It’s transmog. Vindictus now has a transmog system.

Other additions in the patch include two new enchant scrolls, some new equipment tuning for gear crafted from the raid boss mats, updated weekly missions, and some new items to the warm welcome shop, among some other things.
