The defensive meta in Throne and Liberty is too dang strong! That’s according to the globalization design manager of the game, Tico, who addresses exactly that in the latest video of the appropriately named Tico Talks series. New back and side attacks are going to be added in with the game’s May 29th patch to hopefully rebalance the meta a bit, with the goal being to make the whole thing less overburdened on defense while keeping existing builds functional.

Dimensional trials and Nebula Island are also being examined by the team; the former hasn’t really hit the mark for PvE content and the latter isn’t really working for PvP players, which is important when the island is meant to blend PvE and PvP.
