Marvel Rivals has almost hit the halfway point for its second season, and that means it’s time for things to be changed and added as the team vs. team hero shooter introduces its next character and some balance updates coming with the patch arriving on Friday, May 30th.

First off, the patch will add Ultron to the roster as a support character of all things. This does mean the murderous robot will be healing allies but he also appears to pack a significant laser-based punch as well as the ability to fly around. Just to further aggravate players’ inability to aim upward.

Second, a number of balance updates are on deck, including some tweaks to Jeff the Land Shark’s kit; some nerfing to Captain America, Iron Man, Iron Fist, and Human Torch; and tweaks to the power of Namor, Storm, and Star Lord, among other things. There’s also some new team-ups added between Jeff and Storm (Jeff literally gets a Jeff-nado ult if the team-up exists), Iron Man and Ultron, and Rocket and Peni, while pairing abilities between characters like Venom and Spider-Man, Iron Man and Hulk, and Luna and Jeff are either changed or removed.

The game has put out its usual videos showcasing both Ultron and summarizing the mid-season updates, so make sure to give those a peek below, and then prepare for the Age of Jeff-nado on May 30th. Oh and the Age of Ultron too, we guess.
