It’s a tale of two Path of Exile titles in this news story once again, as the early access sequel has laid out plans for improved rewards in its next patch and the long-running original OARPG is finally beginning to leak forward details of its next major expansion patch.Play Path of Exile for free
We’ll begin with POE2 and its beefier reward updates it has planned. These include some more frequent “spike moments” in terms of endgame rewards, a higher frequency of unique item drops as well as more uniques to find, and ramped-up rewards for rituals, twisted domain, and rogue exiles. Grinding Gear Games also promises a wider variety of maps at endgame, several quality-of-life updates, and some adjustment for Trial of the Sekhemas. Expect all of this sometime at the end of this week.
As for original taste POE, the studio has finally started to tease forth details for its next expansion, Secrets of the Atlas. The first preview being offered is a quality-of-life feature that pauses the action when in certain menus or by hitting the escape key. More previews will arrive as GGG leads up to a preview livestream for the patch that’s set to premiere on Thursday, June 5th, at 4:00 p.m. EDT, while the expansion is scheduled to launch on Friday, June 13th.
