The Light & Rain narrative that’s running through DC Universe Online has gotten its latest chapter this week with the launch of Fearful Day, bringing a new story and naturally some new content pieces for players to enjoy in the superheroic MMORPG.Play DCUO for free

Fearful Day brings players to the new open world map of Mogo, a level 20 area with new story missions to take on, after which new repeatable daily and weekly missions will be on offer. There are also instanced missions that unlock through the chapter, starting with two new solo missions and then opening up with a new four-player daily alert and a weekly eight-player raid. Lastly, there will be some login rewards to earn from now until June 24th.

On top of the new story content, the classic instances of Strike Team and Assault and Battery are coming back in flashback form, new costume pieces, a new elite henchman to summon, and two new artifact slots along with an all-new Sinestro’s Corrupted Lantern Ring artifact. The patch notes also detail new PC video options, new generator mods, and a host of fixes.
